Elevate Your Space with Bamboo Shades

If you’re interested in achieving an earthy vibe in your home, bamboo shades are the way to go. Bamboo shades, also known as woven shades, are one of the most popular window treatments you can add to your space. They act like art for the window and are excellent at creating visual interest and filtering light. Let’s dive in and explore the Provenance Woven Woods collection

Trending and Timeless

Bamboo shades are rightfully gaining attention as homeowners are discovering the beautiful look of woven design elements. However, texture shades are not new to the design world. They have worked as roman and roller shades, which remain two of the most popular window shades.

They were previously referred to as “matchstick blinds” by homeowners. Interestingly, they are evolving. With design changes in the fabrics and materials used, bamboo shades earn the attention they deserve. Did you know that they are considered to be in the same category as roman shades? But, wait. You can visit our Alustra Woven Textures collection to see what’s possible in roman AND roller shades.

Distinctively Woven

Bamboo shades are unique in many ways. They are crafted by using natural fibers such as reeds, woods, grasses, and bamboo. It doesn’t stop there. They are also woven in unique patterns that are specific to every collection of woven woods. Furthermore, bamboo shades add texture to any room, aiding in warmth and dimension in each space. While no collection is identical, this distinctive look is available in various color-ways as well.

Liners

When it comes to these types of window shades, you can customize the lining. You can choose from room darkening, light filtering, and energy efficiency. Interestingly, the liner can either be attached or operated independently. This is seen if you choose the Duolite® dual shades option. This way, you can add a secondary cellular shade that is meant to be energy efficient.

The attached liner can block in-coming light even with a light-colored shade. It is in a neutral tone and cascading down a window with the bottom part rolled up to show the backside.

Motorization

There are three, out of many, ways that motorized shades are beneficial in your home. We have all experienced that moment when you settle into the living room to watch a movie or your favorite television show and realize that you left the window shades open. Instead of dealing with the hassle of getting up and lowering them yourself, you can lower the treatments with a push of a button. Secondly, there are times when you adore the view outside of your window. However, there are also times when you want privacy. By using smart, adjustable window shades, you can quickly transform the atmosphere of your home. Lastly, scheduling privacy and light control is a breeze. At the same time of day, you can ensure that the window shades open and close on their own.

Features

Bamboo shades come with a variety of features that make them a favorite choice among homeowners. For starters, these window shades can be tailored. Believe it or not, you can have them fit bay windows or angled windows easily. Secondly, your home can look consistent as you can cover the doors, windows, or both with identical materials–this collection is available in horizontal AND vertical orientation. Lastly, bamboo shades can be customized with the top-down bottom-up feature. This allows you to cover up the bottom portion of your window while enjoying the natural light from above. What would be your favorite feature?
